Who Supports AdCP? Companies Building on the Ad Context Protocol

The Ad Context Protocol (AdCP) is supported by more than 150 companies that belong to AgenticAdvertising.org, the non-profit that publishes and governs it, and they come from every side of the trade: agencies and marketers, publishers, seller agent builders, ad tech platforms, data companies and verification firms. Six companies founded the protocol in October 2025 and 21 more joined at launch.

TL;DR: AdCP launched on 15 October 2025 with six founding members: Optable, PubMatic, Scope3 (now Apostra), Swivel, Triton Digital and Yahoo. AgenticAdvertising.org now lists 157+ members and a founding board drawn from brands, agencies, publishers and technology providers. Support ranges from board seats to live seller agents, so membership is a starting point for checking a company's AdCP work, not proof of a live integration.

How was this list compiled?

This list is unranked and alphabetical within each group. Every fact comes from the company's profile in the AgenticAdvertising.org member directory, an AgenticAdvertising.org announcement, a company press release or approved trade press, and each entry links to its source. Profiles are written by the members themselves, so the descriptions below report what each company says it does rather than an independent test of it.

The distinction matters for anyone choosing a counterparty. Alkimi, for example, is neutral on standards: it can work with agents built on AAMP or AdCP, so the question a buyer asks there is whether an agent behaves well, not which protocol it speaks. A membership list answers the narrower question of who has signed up to shape AdCP.

Who founded AdCP and who joined at launch?

AdCP was announced on 15 October 2025 by a consortium of more than 20 companies, according to the launch press release published by Samba TV. The founding members were Optable, PubMatic, Scope3, Swivel, Triton Digital and Yahoo, and AdExchanger reported that each committed time and resources to the new organisation.

The same release lists 21 launch members: Accuweather, Adgent, Bidcliq, Butler/Till, Classify, HYPD, Kargo, Kiln, LG Ad Solutions, Locala, Magnite, Media.net, MiQ, Nativo, Newton Research, OpenAds, Raptive, Samba TV, Scribd, The Product Counsel and The Weather Company. AgenticAdvertising.org says the first agent-to-agent media buy ran on 16 October 2025, using real inventory from LG Ads with human oversight.

"Agents need to be able to talk to each other, and they need to be able to interact," Anne Coghlan, Scope3's co-founder and COO, said at a preview before the launch, as quoted by AdExchanger.

Which buy-side companies support AdCP?

Agencies, marketers and companies that build buying agents:

Which publishers and media owners support AdCP?

  • CVS Media Exchange, iHeartMedia and News Corp: publishers and media companies named on the founding board.

  • Talpa Network: its profile describes a Dutch media company selling TV, radio and its KIJK streaming platform through its sales house, Talpa Media.

  • The Weather Company: a launch member. "AdCP provides infrastructure to enable direct communication that can actually remove some unnecessary intermediary layers," David Olesnevich, its head of data and advertising products, told AdExchanger.

  • Yahoo: a founding member and a board company.

Which companies build AdCP seller agents for publishers?

A seller agent answers buyer agents on a publisher's behalf. These members say they build or run one:

  • ADvendio: its profile describes seller agent infrastructure for AdCP, built natively on Salesforce.

  • BidMachine: its AdCP seller agent connects buyer agents to in-app SDK supply across a catalogue of more than 50 mobile app products.

  • Boostr: an agentic CRM and order management platform offering AdCP seller agents built on its existing workflows.

  • goTom: a media order management system for European publishers and sales houses that includes a native seller agent.

  • IDM: runs Briefable, an AdCP seller agent and packaging engine, and offers publishers onboarding that includes adagents.json setup.

  • Prebid: took over AdCP's code for creating sell-side agents and made the Prebid Sales Agent available to all publishers through GitHub, AdExchanger reported in January 2026.

  • Publink: a publisher ad server whose AdCP sales agent lets buying agents discover and buy video and CTV inventory.

Which ad tech platforms support AdCP?

  • Apostra (formerly Scope3): a founding member and board company whose profile describes one place for advertisers, media owners and their agents to buy and sell advertising across digital, social, TV, audio, outdoor and print.

  • Equativ: an ad serving, SSP and curation platform whose directory entry lists a sales agent.

  • InMobi: its directory entry lists sales agents.

  • Magnite: a launch member; Garrett McGrath, its SVP of product management, chairs the Prebid board, according to AdExchanger.

  • PubMatic: a founding member and board company; its CRO, Kyle Dozeman, described AdCP as a potential "Prebid-type layer" for agentic advertising, AdExchanger reported.

  • Salesforce: a technology provider on the founding board.

  • Swivel: a founding member offering an agentic operating layer for ad operations.

  • Triton Digital: a founding member whose directory entry lists production and staging sales agents. Its chief product officer, Benjamin Masse, is AgenticAdvertising.org's board president.

Which data and signals companies support AdCP?

  • 6sense: says it is opening its audience segments and buying tools to marketers and AI agents through AdCP.

  • Affinity Answers: combines online behaviour and social data and supports AdCP's Signals Agent.

  • Optable: a founding member and technology provider on the founding board.

  • Zeroma: its signals agent lets buying agents find and activate audiences over MCP and AdCP.

Which measurement and verification companies support AdCP?

How big is AgenticAdvertising.org's membership?

AgenticAdvertising.org was incorporated as an independent non-profit in December 2025 and has grown to more than 3,300 community users and dozens of working groups, according to its board announcement of 28 September 2026. Its homepage lists 157+ member companies.

The work behind the protocol is spread widely. AdCP 3.2 drew on more than 50 contributors, 158 RFCs and over 1,000 merged changes, AgenticAdvertising.org said at its October Town Hall.

Implementation partners form their own group. Kiln was a launch member, Sigma Software says it co-chairs Prebid's agentic taskforce, and TeqBlaze helps SSPs and publishers build and test sales agents.

Does AdCP membership mean an integration is live?

Not necessarily. A board seat, a working group place and a production seller agent are different commitments, and the directory shows all three side by side.

Three checks narrow the gap. Ask which version a company has built against, since AdCP 3.2 became generally available on 30 September 2026 and 3.3 is in beta. Check whether the publisher's adagents.json file authorises the seller agent, then run a test buy before real budget moves.

Frequently asked questions

Who publishes AdCP?

AgenticAdvertising.org publishes and governs the Ad Context Protocol. It is an independent non-profit whose founding board includes brands, agencies, publishers and technology providers.

When did AdCP launch?

AdCP launched on 15 October 2025 with six founding members and 21 launch members. The first agent-to-agent media buy on the protocol followed a day later, according to AgenticAdvertising.org.

Which version of AdCP is current?

AdCP 3.2 is generally available, with the release notes dating it 30 September 2026. Version 3.3 is in beta.

Is AdCP the only agentic advertising standard?

No. IAB Tech Lab publishes the Agentic Advertising Management Protocols (AAMP) and the Agentic Real Time Framework (ARTF), and AdCP sits alongside them.

Can a company work with both AdCP and AAMP?

Yes. The two are published by different bodies, so supporting one does not rule out the other, and the protocol comparison guide explains where each fits.

Is this a complete list of AdCP supporters?

No. It covers a sample of members in each role, and the full, current list is in the AgenticAdvertising.org member directory.

What does broad AdCP support mean for buyers and sellers?

Wide membership means a buying agent is increasingly likely to meet AdCP on the other side of a deal, alongside agents built on AAMP. The work that matters for people then shifts from wiring systems together to judging which agents to trust. Agents take on the repetitive parts of media buying, while people keep the judgement and approve the deals that matter, extending autonomy only as an agent earns it.

That is the approach Alkimi takes. Concourse benchmarks any buying agent without asking which standard it uses, the Gym trains and spars any agent regardless of protocol, and the Marketplace is neutral, working with or without a DSP.
